• Position: Snowboard Instructors for Snow Camps
• Location: Mount St Louis Moonstone (Coldwater ON)
• Reporting to: Snow Camps Manager/Director
• Availability: January 4th, 2021 to February 27th, 2021
• Closing date for applications: December 18th, 2020

We are looking to add to our great team of Snow Staff! We are looking for snowboard instructors for our programming this winter. As we offer camp-style programs for kids aged 6-17, the ideal candidate is a certified CASI instructor (or equivalent certification). It is also important that members of our team enjoy working with children, have a positive attitude, will be excellent communicators and team players.

Required Skills

• Qualifications: Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors certification required, Level 1 or higher (or equivalent)
• Dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic professionals who are proficient with working with children
• Snowboard industry experience an asset
• Good interpersonal skills, working in a team environment

Required Experience

• All applicants must have a Valid Canadian Working Visa or be a Canadian Citizen.
• Prior experience as an instructor is an asset

Duties

• Instruct and coach campers of all ages and abilities to snowboard within instructors certification level (group lessons for children)
• Complete lesson ability reports & relevant administration forms as required
• Knowledge and adherence to the Alpine Responsibility Code
• Participating in the creation of camper group lesson plans and organization
• General on hill tasks and maintenance as required
• Acting as ambassadors and hosts at various functions for Evolve Snow Camps on and off the hill

Job Location: Coldwater, ON (Mount St Louis Moonstone) - transportation is offered from all over GTA

Position Type: Contract/Seasonal

Contract length: 2 months

Part-time hours: 6-8 per week
