It is a 45-acre island that accommodates up to 24 guests in 12 gorgeous residences and hosts several beautiful shared spaces including our infinity pool, Yoga Balance platform, BVI Stronger outdoor gym, Watersports cabana and beach lounge, Fellowship Dining Hall, spa, and island hiking trails, as well as plenty of sun-drenched nooks around the island.

Responsibilities: 

The Watersports & Activities Manager is responsible for the incredible variety and delivery of the guest activities. This includes overseeing and executing all guest activities including watersports, gym, board games and any other activity guests partake in while on island.  They will supervise logistics, watersports, land activities, hiking outings, and organize off-island excursions.  They are also responsible for all power boats, ensuring they are well-managed, adhere to safety standards and that all logistical requirements are met.  They will also support all other departments, working closely with the front of house team to ensure that the guest experience is to the highest standard.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience working as a manager in a 5-star establishment
  • Previous experience working as a Watersports & Activities Manager or in a similar role, with minimum of 2+ years’ experience leading an on-the-ground team
  • Boat qualifications (minimum Power Boat Level II / STCW 95)
  • Qualifications in both water and land-based activities such as sailing, paddle boarding, kitesurfing, fitness 
  • Current first aid qualifications
  • Experience overseeing boat fleet including implementing and overseeing a rigid maintenance schedule
  • Experience managing day-to-day logistics in a busy guest environment
  • Experience dealing with guest complaints and feedback
  • Clean driver’s license (BVI driver’s license needs to be in place by end of probation period)
  • Experience, training and qualifications within the health and wellness industry a plus
  • Experience working in a Caribbean environment a plus
  • Experience working in a company with focus on health/wellness/nutrition a plus

Package & Benefits: 

  • Minimum 12-month contract (subject to work permit approval)

  • Discretionary bonus will be awarded on an annual basis based on company and job performance (upon successfully passing 4 month probation period)
