ABOUT ME

Freelance Outdoor Learning
Available for freelance work providing high quality cover, and additional staffing for outdoor learning organisations. With a wide range of land, water and mountain based activity skills and with 20 years experience of working with all client groups from KS1 to hard to reach young adults.

Expedition & Walk Leader
3 hours, 3 days or 3 weeks - with a range of Duke of Edinburgh (supervision and assessment), foreign and domestic expedition skills I am available to guide, teach and lead walks and expeditions whilst engaging and informing.

Teacher Training
From delivery of the OEAPs Outdoor Learning Cards to schools and youth workers, developing school sites with orienteering, geocaching. Campfires, problem-solving days and Earth-Art training brings learners together and enriches the curriculum with proven outcomes.

Mountain Bike Guide
Leading and teaching mountain bike skills for offroad riding. Bike packing expedition journeys or just led gentle day rides exploring new places.

Personal Development Courses
20 years experience of delivering personal development courses across a huge range of clients. Always enjoyable and inclusive, challenging but supportive. Teambuilding days should be fun not feared.

Instructor Development
Available to run outdoor staff training in a wide range of subjects. Apprenticeship development a speciality, working to get the best out of staff as they start their careers, ensuring they can deliver excellent sessions and understand client needs.

development, 900k turnover, delivery of several large outsourced capital projects, staffing and operational
lead. Delivery of staff, teacher training and apprentice development courses.
