I am a qualified and experienced high school teacher who decided to follow my passion and move into outdoor education/adventure based work at the start of 2021. I love working with people and helping them learn new skills, have fun and push their own limits to realise their potential. In my free time, I love to go tramping, surfing and doing anything that will give me an adrenal rush. I like working with or leading a team but am also capable and happy to run things on my own. I genuinely enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and cultures to expand my own world views.

I worked as a high school teacher for 4 years during which time I learned a lot of people based skills including how to effectively communicate with large groups and behaviour management.
I work at an outdoor education camp based in Auckland and have instructed a range of activities, including but limited to, high ropes, archery, tramping and kayaking.
I currently work part-time as a youth consultant and in that role, I run snow and surf camps during the school holidays. I led the activities and run the team while ensuring fun and safety for all participants.
