Since starting work I have been in the industry for a total of 4 years.
Starting off at college, I spent 2 years studying Outdoor adventure level 2 and 3 then shortly after, began work at an outdoor education centre in the Isle of Man. After 2 summer seasons I decided I would like to see how the other side of the world works and headed straight to Australia. Post one blistering hot summer season in NSW I travelled back to the UK to work as a self employed outdoor instructor for a NCS provider, as the summer drew to a close I turned my sights back to the southern hemisphere and flew to New Zealand, Which just so happened to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have been working in outdoor education sector in New Zealand for the past 9 months and loved it.
